I wanted to run my own business, make my own money, have total control over my life and time...
But like many, I struggled.
I was consuming information and learning like crazy… but things just never seemed to “click.”
Then, I found a little community.
Something I now call “Money Twitter.”
It wasn’t anything official (just a handful of guys with Twitter accounts building their own businesses and sharing what they learned along the way)...
But it allowed me to immerse myself in the right information...
And surround myself with the right people...
To the point that every day my “axe” was getting sharper and sharper…
Until eventually?
My own success became inevitable.
And, that’s exactly what happened.
Using the information, resources, and connections I gained from this little community, I was able to build an e-commerce business of my own that allowed me to drop out of college, support myself, and even got me featured in the local news!

Of course, I have to give myself a little credit…
(I worked my buns off to tell you the truth.)
But the key part about all this?
The reason I think this community aspect was so crucial to my success?
It wasn’t that I was getting LOADS of great, directly relevant information…
Or that I was meeting TONS of high quality people who would end up becoming my mentors, business partners, and friends…
(Both of those things did happen of course, and they certainly played a role…)
But I think the real sauce was this:
For months straight I was totally immersed in both people and information that, over time, moulded me into the type of person who could become successful.
You know that saying, right?
“You’re the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”
It was kind of like that.
Whereas before I was surrounded by, to be completely honest with you, sh*thead fratboys whose #1 priority was how drunk they could get that day…
Now I was surrounded by incredibly high quality people who were not only ahead of me in terms of income… but who were also sharing insights, tips, and strategies I could directly implement myself.
The premise I’m getting at here is…
Immersing yourself in a community like this is one of the fastest paths to success.
Instead of painstakingly searching for bits and pieces of information online… you simply immerse yourself in a “pre-built” community like this… gradually learn and grow via “osmosis” — and essentially just absorb the mindset, insights, and strategies of those who’ve done it before you — until eventually...
